Work in Kyiv with No Experience: Which Jobs Are Actually Open to Beginners
The phrase “work in Kyiv with no experience” makes it sound as though the city has prepared a separate job market for newcomers: here are the offices, here is the training, here is the salary, and here is a friendly manager patiently explaining where to find the “Save” button in the CRM.
In reality, there is no separate market. There is the regular labor market, where employers need results and candidates cannot yet prove their ability through previous work. That means a lack of experience has to be offset by something else: the ability to learn quickly, discipline, willingness to work an office schedule, language skills, clear communication, a portfolio, a technical foundation, or acceptance of less attractive starting conditions.
This is not a reason to dramatically close your laptop and go grow microgreens. It is a reason to stop looking for some abstract “good job with no experience” and work out which companies genuinely train beginners, which merely say they do in the job ad, and which use the “no experience required” label as bait for people who feel uncomfortable asking questions about the contract, base salary, and actual nature of the work. The last category is particularly lively in Kyiv: sometimes a vacancy grows faster than the company itself manages to appear.
Below, we will examine where beginners are most likely to find their first job in Kyiv in 2026, which positions are only theoretically available, how much you can reasonably ask for at the start, what can replace experience on a CV, and how to distinguish training from unpaid labor. We will also find out why a vacancy with “manager” in the title can mean almost anything, from legitimate customer work to eight hours of calling people who have already blocked the previous three numbers.
What Is Happening in Kyiv’s Labor Market in 2026
Let us begin with the numbers, because advice without numbers quickly turns into career astrology. According to Work.ua, employers posted 114,973 vacancies across Ukraine in June 2026, almost the highest monthly figure since the beginning of the year. Nearly 46% of the listings were marked as suitable for candidates without experience, while one in four was open to students. At the same time, the number of applications reached a multi-year high. Employers have become more willing to consider beginners, but candidates have also entered the market in large numbers. The door has opened wider; the queue outside it has not become shorter. These figures were published in the July 2026 labor market review.
Kyiv remains the country’s largest and most varied employment market, although “varied” does not mean “easy.” As of July 2026, the median salary advertised in the city was UAH 36,000, based on more than 53,000 listings. This is a useful benchmark for the market as a whole, but a poor starting figure for someone without proven experience. The overall median includes professionals who can close deals, manage reporting, maintain infrastructure, and take responsibility for results without receiving a seventeen-point instruction every morning. Beginners are usually offered less, or a substantial share of their income is linked to bonuses. The phrase “up to UAH 60,000” often describes not the salary, but the upper limit of the vacancy writer’s imagination. The current city median is published in Work.ua’s salary statistics.
Data from the Kyiv Employment Service reveals another important point. At the beginning of February 2026, its database contained more than 3,800 vacancies in the capital. Alongside technical and manual occupations, employers were looking for sales assistants, accountants, administrators, sales managers, finance professionals, and service employees. At the same time, many registered job seekers were accountants, managers, administrators, economists, HR professionals, and marketers. In other words, a role can be in demand among employers and highly competitive among candidates at the same time. The market can face a shortage of salespeople and a surplus of people who would like to call themselves marketers. Nature, as usual, enjoys balance, while recruitment departments enjoy Excel. More detailed figures are available in the Kyiv City Employment Center’s review.
In its April forecast, the National Bank expected real wages to grow by 11.6% in 2026, partly because of labor shortages and competition between companies for employees. At the same time, the number of CVs was growing faster than the number of vacancies at the beginning of the year. A general shortage of workers therefore does not eliminate a local surplus of candidates in attractive office-based, remote, and creative fields. A business may be short of staff overall while having absolutely no need for another junior SMM specialist with three practice posts about a coffee shop. Both realities fit comfortably within the same city and sometimes even within the same business center. The macroeconomic context is described in the NBU’s May 2026 review.
“No Experience” Does Not Mean “No Skills”
Employers use the phrase “no experience required” in at least four different ways. In the first case, the company is genuinely prepared to hire someone who has never had a formal job and train them from scratch. This is common when recruiting contact center operators, consultants, sales representatives, entry-level administrators, and support staff. The company has instructions, scripts, a mentor, and clear performance indicators. The beginner pays for entry not with money, but with patience: listening to recorded calls, learning the product, completing an assessment, and working more slowly than everyone else during the first few weeks.
In the second case, the employer does not require experience in that exact position, but does expect transferable skills. A former volunteer may be a good fit for a coordinator role, a student who organized events may suit an HR assistant position, and someone who has dealt with customers may move into customer support. Formally, there is no relevant employment history. In practice, there is evidence that the candidate can negotiate, meet deadlines, work with spreadsheets, and avoid disappearing after receiving a message that says, “Hello, just following up on the task.”
In the third case, “no experience” means “with a portfolio, practice projects, and basic command of the tools.” This is typical in content, SMM, design, analytics, testing, and some IT roles. The company does not require a formal employment record, but it expects the candidate to be able to perform at least half of the simpler tasks already. A junior designer without commercial experience and a junior designer without any designs are two different candidates. The first may get an interview. The second currently has little more than a rich inner world.
Finally, “no experience” can be a decorative label. It is placed in the listing to increase the number of applications, only for candidates to discover during the interview that the role requires confident Excel skills, CRM experience, B2 English, cold-calling experience, an understanding of analytics, and the ability to run the entire function independently. The employer is not looking for a beginner. It is looking for a fully trained professional who, for some private reason, will agree to be called a beginner and receive a beginner’s salary. Such listings should be read literally through the responsibilities, not through the welcoming sticker at the top of the page.

Which No-Experience Jobs in Kyiv Are Genuinely, Conditionally, and Almost Theoretically Available
It is more useful to assess the cost of entry than the prestige of the job title. The faster a new employee can begin producing measurable results, and the easier it is for the company to standardize the work, the more willing the employer will be to hire without experience. When a beginner’s mistake is expensive, training takes months, and a hundred portfolios arrive for every opening, the door becomes heavier.

This table is not a verdict on any profession. It shows how much evidence you will need to bring before receiving your first offer. In sales, that evidence may be a strong role-play conversation during the interview. In design, you will need a portfolio. In accounting, you need a foundation in documents and bookkeeping. In IT, saying “I learn quickly” is not enough, because everyone has already written it, including the candidate who opened their first course yesterday evening.

Contact Center Operator and Customer Support: The Widest Entry Point
When someone needs their first job in Kyiv within the next few weeks rather than at some vague point after completing another course, customer service remains one of the most realistic options. Companies continually recruit inbound-line operators, chat specialists, support employees, dispatchers, consultants, and order-confirmation operators. The processes can be broken down into instructions, quality can be measured, and a beginner can work beside a mentor before becoming independent relatively quickly. For a business, this is more practical than waiting six months for an aspiring brand strategist to discover their creative voice.
However, the same job title can conceal very different types of work. Inbound support responds to existing customers, explains pricing plans, helps resolve problems, and records requests in the system. Outbound teams make the first contact and are therefore more likely to deal with sales, surveys, customer reactivation, or debt collection. Chat support involves fewer spoken conversations, but demands faster typing and the ability to manage several dialogues at once. Technical support adds diagnosis: you must understand how the product works, ask the right questions, and avoid recommending that the customer “restart everything” as a universal cleansing ritual.
As of July 2026, Work.ua showed a median salary of UAH 30,000 for a contact center operator in Kyiv, with a broad range from UAH 21,000 to UAH 56,000. The breadth is easy to explain: the same statistics include inbound support, active sales, shift-based lines, foreign-language roles, and bonus schemes. Actual entry-level listings can offer much more modest sums. For example, among IT-category vacancies open to students, MEGOGO advertised an inbound-line operator position paying UAH 16,000-21,000, while technical and sales-oriented roles offered more. You should therefore compare the fixed base salary rather than the large figure written after the words “up to.” Current benchmarks can be found in the contact center salary statistics and the student vacancy selection.
Entry-level candidates need clear spoken Ukrainian, accurate written communication, the ability to listen and record information, basic computer skills, and tolerance for repetitive questions. Russian and English expand the range of opportunities, but Ukrainian must be a working language in customer service in Ukraine, not a CV entry that means “I understand it and will try to reply.” Interviews often assess not the beauty of your voice, but the logic of the conversation: how you clarify the problem, what you do with an irritated customer, and whether you can retell an instruction without creatively reinterpreting it.
Before applying, find out which line you would be joining, whether sales are involved, how many interactions occur per shift, how the bonus is calculated, whether training is paid, whether night hours are required, and who makes decisions in difficult cases. When a recruiter calls the work “consultative” but avoids answering questions about sales targets, you are probably looking at sales wearing a wig and glasses. That does not automatically make it a bad job. What is bad is discovering its true nature on the first day, when you have already been given the headset but have not yet been issued a sense of humor.
Sales Manager: Easy to Enter, Difficult to Stay
Sales roles are open to beginners not because the work is easy. The reason is economic: results can be measured in money, part of the salary can be tied to performance, and learning a product and a script takes less time than training someone for a regulated or technically complex profession. Sales manager ranked second among the most in-demand positions in Ukraine, and approximately one in three vacancies did not require experience. For customer account managers, up to half of all listings were open to candidates without experience. These estimates appear in the 2026 review of the most in-demand professions, based on Work.ua data.
The median salary for a sales manager in Kyiv in July 2026 was UAH 47,500, but beginners should not interpret this as a guaranteed base salary. Sales listings are particularly fond of combining the fixed salary, the bonus for achieving 100% of the target, a higher commission for exceeding the target, and the theoretical maximum earned by the strongest employee. A listing offering “UAH 30,000-80,000” may mean a UAH 20,000 base, a realistic income of UAH 35,000, and UAH 80,000 to roughly the same extent that the office water cooler qualifies as a mineral spring. Ask for three figures: the fixed post-tax salary, the median employee income over the past three months, and the percentage of the team that met its target. When the answer exists only in the form of an inspirational speech, assume the numbers have already been communicated.
Beginners can enter retail sales, warm-lead processing, work with an existing customer database, B2C services, simple B2B products, and sales department assistant positions. The longer the sales cycle, the more complex the product, and the higher the price, the less likely a company is to hand the full process to someone without experience. A vacancy for a “corporate IT solutions sales manager with no experience” therefore usually points to either a well-developed training program or an extremely optimistic employer. You can determine which one you are dealing with by asking about the onboarding period, the mentor’s role, the source of leads, and the first expected result.
Successful entry into sales does not require the natural sociability of a wedding host. You need clear speech, the ability to ask questions, resilience in the face of rejection, accurate note-taking, and the discipline to return to an agreement. A calm candidate who hears the customer and does not lose track of the next step is often more useful than someone who can spend twenty uninterrupted minutes describing their own charisma. Prepare an example for the interview in which you persuaded someone, negotiated, brought a person back to a decision, or secured a response. A practice project, volunteering, organizing an event, or even handling a difficult purchase can serve as evidence, provided you explain the situation, your action, and the result instead of saying, “I have always found it easy to get along with people.”
Check the product and legal entity separately. The market includes aggressive financial projects, questionable investment platforms, illegal gambling products, and offices that conceal the nature of the work until the employee arrives. When a company refuses to name the product, promises cash every evening, recruits an entire department without any selection process, and takes a particular interest in whether you are willing “not to ask unnecessary questions,” this is not a fast career start. It is a story whose end credits are best viewed before the first episode.
Administrator, Receptionist, and Office Assistant: Accessible, but the Queue Is Long
Administrative vacancies look like the perfect entry point: a clear title, an office, communication with people, no cold prospecting, and apparently very little specialist knowledge. That is precisely why they attract so many applications. In 2026, experience was not required for approximately one-third of administrator vacancies and four out of ten office manager vacancies across Ukraine, but competition for both positions was considered high. Employers can choose, so the “no experience” label does not eliminate the need for clear communication, a well-prepared CV, and basic office software skills.
An administrator in a clinic, salon, education center, fitness club, or business space performs different work. The common responsibilities include booking clients, answering messages and calls, processing payments, maintaining schedules, and resolving minor disruptions. Industry-specific additions then appear: selling services, operating the cash register, handling primary documentation, using a medical system, monitoring supplies, organizing classes, or coordinating shifts. The more beautifully the vacancy describes its “caring environment,” the more carefully you should look for the line about sales targets. Care sometimes comes with a monthly KPI and a conversion spreadsheet.
Office assistants and office managers handle documents, meetings, couriers, purchasing, contractors, workstations, and internal requests. A junior employee may also assist the manager, HR team, or accounting department. That is reasonable when priorities are clear and the workload is realistic. When one person is expected to handle documents, welcome guests, recruit staff, purchase equipment, film Reels, organize business trips, and occasionally “help with personal errands,” the company has not created an entry-level position. It has attempted to fold five vacancies into one, like a winter coat being forced into a carry-on bag.
As of July 2026, the median salary for an office manager in Kyiv was UAH 32,500. Earlier in the spring, Work.ua recorded UAH 30,000 based on 914 listings. Entry-level offers may fall below this median, particularly when the company provides training and does not require English. Salaries are higher when the role includes responsibility for documentation, purchasing, contractors, international communication, or executive assistant duties. It is important to compare not only the salary, but also the schedule, district, travel time, availability of a shelter, and backup power. For office work in Kyiv, logistics are part of the employment conditions even when the vacancy description modestly disguises them as an address. Role-specific figures are available on the office manager salary page.
A CV for this type of role benefits from practical evidence of reliability rather than generic qualities: managing a group schedule, working with spreadsheets, accepting payments, organizing an event for 80 participants, responding to enquiries, collecting documents, or coordinating volunteers. Administrative work consists of small details that cannot be lost. The phrase “detail-oriented” therefore looks particularly ironic when it is not supported by a single example.
Online Store Manager and Order Processing Operator
E-commerce offers beginners one of the most practical entry points into office-based or hybrid work. Online stores need employees who receive orders, check stock, contact customers, pass information to the warehouse or delivery service, update statuses in the CRM, and process returns. The process repeats, can be learned quickly, and produces an immediately visible result. That is why search results include many offers for students and candidates without experience, particularly in companies processing high volumes of orders.
The title “online store manager” requires clarification. In one company, it means calmly processing inbound requests. In another, it means active upselling. In a third, it combines support, content, marketplaces, returns, and an investigation into the fate of a parcel that has spent three days philosophically traveling between branches. Before the interview, clarify the proportion of calls and messages, the number of orders per shift, whether there is an average-order-value target, whether you will handle conflicts, whether weekend work is required, and which system the company uses. If there is no CRM and the entire store operates through one shared messenger account, the beginner is not heading into training, but into archaeology.
To get started, you need accurate written Ukrainian, confident use of browsers and spreadsheets, fast typing, the ability to follow a process, and the discipline not to confuse similar products. Experience with Horoshop, Shopify, Prom, Rozetka, CRM platforms, or delivery services is an advantage, but basic familiarity can be gained through a practice project. Create ten test orders in a free CRM, assign statuses, and prepare response templates for delays, exchanges, and out-of-stock items. At that point, you are no longer a candidate with “absolutely no experience,” but someone who understands how the work operates and is not seeing the word “pipeline” for the first time.
Income depends on sales volume and the availability of bonuses. The market includes fixed salaries in the lower or middle part of the city range, along with higher promised earnings linked to upselling. In Work.ua statistics, online store managers may be grouped with sales roles, making the median appear more generous than the typical salary of a beginner order-processing operator. Look not at the title of the statistics page, but at five to ten vacancies with the same responsibilities. A median is useful when comparing like with like, not apples, CRM systems, and heads of sales.
Retail Sales Assistant: Not an Office Job, but Real Experience
Retail sits outside the conventional image of an “office career,” but for a beginner it is one of the most accessible ways to gain commercial experience quickly. In the nationwide 2026 ranking, retail sales assistant was the most frequently advertised position, and four out of five vacancies did not require experience. In Kyiv, the median salary for a salesperson in July was approximately UAH 30,000, although actual income depends on the product category, customer traffic, shifts, and bonuses. Electronics, furniture, cosmetics, clothing, and other categories involving consultative sales often provide more useful skills than a role with the attractive word “assistant” in the title, where the employee spends three months moving data from one column to another.
A good retail vacancy provides training in the product, identifying customer needs, presentation, cash handling, stock records, and objection handling. After six to twelve months, this experience can be transferred into customer service, e-commerce, account management, and B2B sales. A bad vacancy leaves the employee alone during the shift, introduces fines for everything including facial expression, and turns the salary into a mathematical problem involving unknown variables. The difference can be established by asking about the fixed salary, targets, stocktakes, financial liability, paid training, and the actual length of a shift.
Many candidates regard retail as “the wrong kind of job” because they are comparing a real entry-level position with an imaginary digital career. The more useful comparison is this: what skills and proven results will you have after six months? If a sales assistant can demonstrate target achievement, average transaction value, repeat purchases, and CRM knowledge, their CV becomes stronger. If an aspiring marketer waits six months for the perfect vacancy while managing a single practice account, the skill that becomes stronger is primarily their ability to refresh a search page.
Banking, Insurance, and Operational Back Office
Financial companies regularly hire beginners for contact centers, branches, operations teams, sales of banking products, insurance support, document processing, and initial data checks. They value accuracy, compliance with procedures, and the ability to explain complex matters in ordinary language. Relevant education is useful for accounting and analytical tasks, but customer-facing and operational positions often place greater emphasis on trainability, clear communication, and the absence of a creative approach to identification rules.
As of July 2026, the median salary in Kyiv’s “Finance and Banking” category was approximately UAH 34,000. Work.ua’s spring statistics showed UAH 31,000 based on 2,769 vacancies, with common positions including cashier, credit specialist, bank operator, controller, and economist. Once again, these figures include employees at different levels. A beginner in a branch or contact center will usually start below the median for an experienced professional, while additional income may depend on sales of cards, loans, insurance, and other products. The category breakdown is published in Kyiv’s financial vacancy statistics.
The main questions concern responsibility. You need to know in advance whether the role involves cash, who is responsible for transaction errors, what targets are in place, how financial liability is formalized, and how long the training lasts. In a properly organized company, access is granted according to roles, actions are logged, complex transactions are checked, and beginners are not left alone to work out what to do with other people’s money on their second day. When you are asked to begin by conducting transactions through your personal card or accepting client funds into your own account, end the conversation. This is no longer financial literacy. It is an entrance examination in crime reporting.
HR Assistant, Trainee Recruiter, and Sourcer
HR appears accessible because the responsibilities are often described using familiar language: communicate with candidates, schedule interviews, maintain a spreadsheet, and publish vacancies. Competition, however, is higher than it seems. The HR category did grow faster than many others in June 2026, increasing by 6% in a month. Work.ua’s selection for students in Kyiv included 65 HR vacancies, 37 of which accepted candidates without experience. This is a genuine entry point, but not a mass-market door the size of a contact center. A carefully written HR assistant vacancy quickly attracts many people who also enjoy communication, psychology, and the attractive word “onboarding.”
An HR assistant usually coordinates interviews, maintains the candidate database, prepares documents, and assists with onboarding and internal tasks. A sourcer searches for suitable people in databases, LinkedIn, job platforms, and professional communities, checks whether they match the profile, and sends the first message. A recruiter takes the candidate further, conducts interviews, assesses motivation, and coordinates the decision with the hiring manager. A company may combine these functions, so the vacancy title once again guarantees nothing. Read the responsibilities, the recruitment volume, and the list of positions you will be expected to fill.
Without experience, you can demonstrate your ability to search and organize. Take a public vacancy, create a sourcing plan, find twenty relevant public profiles, prepare a short opening message, build a status spreadsheet, and explain your selection criteria. There is no need to collect personal data or contact people unnecessarily. The point is to demonstrate your reasoning. Such a mini-case is stronger than the phrase “I dream of developing in HR,” because the dream says nothing about whether you will be able to find the fiftieth operator when the first forty-nine have already stopped replying.
HR salary statistics should be treated cautiously. In July, Work.ua showed approximately UAH 40,000 for an HR specialist or recruiter in Kyiv, but the aggregator combines related titles and seniority levels, so the figure does not equal an assistant’s salary. For entry-level positions, you need to review individual vacancies and separate the fixed salary from bonuses for successful hires. When compensation depends almost entirely on candidates starting work, while the company refuses to disclose the number of vacancies, hiring deadlines, and reasons for turnover, you may be signing up not for a career start, but for a subscription to somebody else’s staffing problems.
Assistant Accountant and Documentation Specialist
Accounting is considered a stable field, but entry without a basic foundation is narrower. According to the ranking of in-demand professions, only approximately one in ten accountant vacancies accepts candidates without experience. The reason is clear: mistakes in taxes, payments, and primary documentation cost more than an unsuccessful social media post. However, positions do exist for assistant accountants, primary-document operators, accounting specialists, cashiers, and finance department assistants. One current Work.ua selection for Kyiv included an assistant accountant vacancy paying UAH 20,000 and open to candidates without experience.
Relevant education does not guarantee an offer, but it provides the language of the profession. Employers expect candidates to know the difference between an invoice, acceptance certificate, delivery note, and payment order; understand the purpose of primary documents; use Excel; and remain calm when asked to reconcile records. Some vacancies require BAS, M.E.Doc, Vchasno, or online banking platforms. You do not need to buy an expensive course for every product. It is enough to understand the general logic, watch official demonstrations, practice using anonymized examples, and describe your level honestly.
Your CV can include a practice case: preparing a document package for a hypothetical delivery, checking details, creating a register, performing a reconciliation, and identifying a discrepancy. If you helped a sole proprietor organize documents, managed the budget of a volunteer project, or monitored payments for an event, that is also relevant when described without exaggeration. The employer does not need someone who “loves numbers.” Some people love numbers only until they encounter their first spreadsheet with eight thousand rows.
Before starting, clarify who checks the beginner’s work, which areas will be assigned to them, whether training is provided, how many legal entities the team manages, and how overtime is handled during reporting periods. An assistant position is worthwhile when there is an experienced professional nearby from whom you can learn. When a company advertises an “assistant with no experience” but hands them the entire accounting function alone, the word “assistant” probably refers to helping the employer save money on a qualified accountant.
Content, SMM, and Marketing: Commercial Experience May Be Optional, but a Portfolio Is Not
Vacancies for content managers, SMM assistants, copywriters, and junior marketers attract beginners with an appealing promise: writing, working with social media, developing ideas, and sometimes doing all of it remotely. The problem is that many people want these jobs, while businesses do not need someone who merely likes Instagram. They need an employee who can publish materials on schedule, follow a tone of voice, handle revisions, understand the purpose of a publication, and examine the numbers. A personal account featuring photographs of breakfast confirms that the candidate owns a phone. It provides much less reliable evidence of commercial ability.
As of July 2026, the median salary for a content manager in Kyiv was UAH 35,000, with Work.ua’s range running approximately from UAH 22,000 to UAH 50,000. SMM specialists had the same median, while the broader marketing category showed UAH 50,000. This difference does not mean beginners will be paid those sums for knowing how to open Canva. The statistics combine junior and experienced employees, while the word “marketer” often covers advertising, analytics, strategy, and budget management professionals. Current figures can be checked on the content manager, SMM specialist, and marketer salary pages.
For a first job, you need a compact set of evidence. Choose a real or hypothetical business, define its audience, prepare a two-week content plan, write several different types of posts, create simple visuals, suggest recurring content categories, and explain which metrics you would monitor. For a content manager role, add a product page, a short article, an email, and an example of editing an original text. For a junior marketer position, show a competitor analysis, a hypothesis, a simple funnel, and a results spreadsheet. The employer does not have to publish any of these materials. They need to see that you can convert a task into actual work rather than merely into a mood.
Read especially carefully any vacancy that assigns a single beginner responsibility for SMM, paid advertising, design, filming, editing, the website, PR, influencer relations, and “generating viral ideas.” This is not a universal entry-level position. It is a small marketing department that has somehow forgotten to include colleagues. Such a role can occasionally be useful in a small business when the workload is limited and the employee is allowed to learn. More often, it creates many chaotic tasks, little feedback, and a portfolio in which your own work cannot be separated from the daily firefighting.
A test assignment should be limited in scope and should not be used as free content. One post, several ideas, a small audit, or a brief editing exercise is enough to assess a candidate. A full monthly content plan, ten finished designs, and a complete strategy already resemble paid work. When a company collects such assignments from twenty candidates, it suddenly acquires three months’ worth of material and loses the need to hire anyone. A coincidence, of course, bordering on the mystical.
Technical Support and Junior System Administrator
Technical support is a more realistic entry point into IT than learning software development from scratch, but the word “technical” is not decorative. An employer may not require commercial experience, but will expect knowledge of Windows or Linux, networking fundamentals, browsers, user accounts, peripherals, remote access, and diagnostic logic. As of July 2026, the median salary for a technical support specialist in Kyiv was approximately UAH 35,000, with Work.ua showing a range of roughly UAH 24,000 to UAH 56,000. Current student vacancies included a junior system administrator role offering UAH 20,000-30,000 while requiring one year of experience, as well as technical roles with training but no stated salary. This illustrates the reality well: a company’s willingness to hire a student does not necessarily mean it expects zero preparation.
To replace experience, build a home lab. Install a virtual machine, configure users and permissions, connect a shared resource, and study IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, backups, basic commands, and typical access problems. Present several cases as short instructions: symptom, questions for the user, checks, cause, solution, and prevention. Such a document is more useful than a certificate proving you watched forty hours of video, because support is not about watching. It is about eliminating faults systematically.
During the interview, you do not need to pretend you are an engineer at a space center. It is better to explain honestly what you configured yourself, where you followed an instruction, and how you searched for the cause. A strong beginner does not know everything, but also does not press random buttons in the hope that the system will become frightened and start working. The employer assesses your diagnostic process, your communication with non-technical users, and your ability to document the solution.
Clarify the schedule, on-call duties, night shifts, the distinction between first- and second-line support, the number of users, the availability of a knowledge base, and the escalation process for complex tickets. If a junior employee is expected to support the entire office, servers, telephony, network, cameras, purchasing, and website alone, this is no longer entry-level support. It is an infrastructure orchestra in which the beginner has been handed every instrument and, for some reason, asked to perform immediately without a rehearsal.
Junior Development, QA, and UI/UX: Vacancies Exist, but There Is No Easy Way In
General market reviews stating that “almost half of all vacancies are suitable for people without experience” sound encouraging until someone applies the figure to a specific field. It does not transfer automatically to IT. In the first half of 2026, DOU reported a decline in the number of software development vacancies, particularly in Front-end and Mobile, along with record competition in several fields. A spring DOU survey found that 68% of Ukrainian IT professionals considered job searching difficult, with the figure rising to 71% among developers. UI/UX, graphic and web design, QA, and administrative IT positions were named among the most difficult areas in which to find work. Full results were published in DOU’s 2026 job search study and first-half review.
The picture is not entirely bleak. Among interns and juniors who had searched for work during the year, 65% reported finding a job. However, these people already considered themselves participants in the IT market, possessed relevant skills, and applied systematically. The figure does not mean that 65% of graduates from any course receive offers. It means entry is possible for the prepared section of the candidate pool, not for someone expecting to exchange a certificate for an office pass.
A developer needs several completed projects, readable code, Git, a foundation in the chosen stack, and an understanding of APIs, data, testing, and deployment. A junior QA specialist needs testing theory, test cases, bug reports, DevTools, APIs, and at least basic SQL. A UI/UX designer needs more than a gallery of attractive screens: they need a case study containing the problem, research, user-flow logic, prototype, design decisions, and validation. In every field, English increases both the number of available vacancies and the quality of the materials from which you can learn.
A common beginner mistake is searching only for the word “junior.” Companies use titles such as trainee, intern, assistant, support specialist, implementation specialist, technical consultant, content moderator, operations specialist, and customer success. Sometimes the first step into a technology company comes not through development, but through product support, implementation, manual data checks, or operational work. This is not a betrayal of the dream. It is a way around the queue. After a year, an internal employee who understands the product, its users, and the company’s processes often has a better chance of moving forward than an external candidate with yet another practice weather application.
Other Entry-Level Roles Candidates Often Miss
Alongside the popular job titles, Kyiv employers recruit training program coordinators, project assistants, database operators, moderation specialists, purchasing assistants, dispatchers, secretaries, executive assistants, reception staff, application-verification specialists, and consultants for service companies. These vacancies are harder to find with a single search term because the same work appears under different names. A candidate who searches only for “office manager” sees one part of the market and concludes that the market has ended. It has not ended. It simply has a rich imagination when naming positions.
Search by both function and level. For customer-facing work, useful terms include “support specialist,” “inbound operator,” “customer service manager,” “coordinator,” “customer support,” “customer care,” and “account assistant.” For administrative roles, try “office assistant,” “administrator,” “receptionist,” “office coordinator,” “department assistant,” and “document specialist.” In digital fields, check “content assistant,” “junior content manager,” “marketing assistant,” “moderator,” “data entry,” and “catalog specialist.” One search term creates the illusion of choice. Ten related search terms create the choice itself.
A separate category includes real estate agents, insurance consultants, and other roles in which income is almost entirely commission-based. Entry is genuinely open, training is sometimes provided, and the upper income level may be high. However, this is not employment with a guaranteed salary in the conventional sense. Candidates without enough savings to cover several months should approach such positions carefully. A commission model does not turn into a fixed salary merely because the recruiter describes it energetically while music plays in the background.
How Much Beginners Are Really Paid in Kyiv
There is no single universal range because “no experience” covers an electronics salesperson, HR assistant, support operator, assistant accountant, and trainee developer. It is more useful to divide income into three parts: the guaranteed salary, the variable component, and the cost of the working conditions. The guaranteed salary must be stated as a specific figure. The variable component must have a transparent formula. The cost of the conditions includes commuting, meals, night shifts, personal equipment, unpaid training, and time worked beyond the formal schedule.
For mass-market entry-level office and service roles in 2026, the fixed salary often falls within the lower part of the city market, approximately UAH 20,000-30,000. Bonuses, language skills, shift patterns, or responsibility may then increase the total. Technical support, customer management, strong sales roles, and some administrative positions may pay more overall. The range is especially broad in content, HR, and accounting because the same title may describe either an assistant or an independent specialist. This is not an official pay scale, but a practical benchmark based on current listings, so every figure needs to be checked against the individual vacancy.
The median salary for a profession does not equal an entry-level salary. For example, Work.ua showed UAH 47,500 for sales managers in Kyiv, UAH 40,000 for customer account managers, UAH 35,000 for content managers and technical support specialists, UAH 32,500 for office managers, and UAH 30,000 for contact center operators. These samples include experienced employees, bonuses, and related job titles. Use the median as background context: when a full role is offered far below the market, ask questions; when a beginner is promised twice the market rate for extremely simple actions, ask even more questions.
During the interview, ask whether the amount is stated before or after tax, whether it is the base salary, how much employees earn after the first, third, and sixth month, how the bonus is calculated, whether training and probation are paid, and whether fines or deductions exist. A legitimate employer can explain the salary without a smoke screen. When, after ten minutes of conversation, you know all about the “limitless potential,” “young team,” and “high-energy atmosphere,” but still do not know the base salary, the atmosphere has already performed its main financial function.

Why Remote Work with No Experience Is a Separate Category of Competition
Beginners often add three conditions to their search: no experience, remote work, and a good salary. Each condition can be found independently. Together, they turn a vacancy into a scarce commodity. In June 2026, one in four candidates on Work.ua was looking for remote work, one-third of all applications went to remote vacancies, and remote positions accounted for approximately 6% of listings. Competition for this format was five times higher than the average and ten to twenty times higher for some positions. These figures were provided in an analysis of the remote employment market.
Employers are more cautious about giving remote roles to beginners because training, observing the work process, and redirecting someone back to the task are all more difficult at a distance. Ready-to-use skills, independence, and previous results therefore matter more in remote work. The most accessible remote options without experience are contact centers, chats, order processing, moderation, simple sales, and some operational tasks. Content, design, QA, and development can also be remote, but entry requires evidence.
When the goal is the profession rather than the chair at home, an office-based or hybrid first job can shorten the route. After six to twelve months, a person has real case studies, references, and the ability to choose the format. Rejecting every office offer in favor of a first remote position can extend the search by more time than it takes to travel across half of Kyiv. This is not a call to accept any address. It is ordinary arithmetic: 6% of the market is not required to behave like 100%.

Which Skills Increase Your Chances Most Quickly
The first universal skill for working in Kyiv is written and spoken Ukrainian. It is needed in support, sales, administrative work, documentation, HR, and content. Employers do not require a philological dissertation, but they expect employees to answer a customer, write an email, complete a record, and avoid mentally translating every sentence. When your Ukrainian is still uncertain, practice through workplace scenarios: answering an enquiry, confirming a meeting, explaining a delay, and writing a brief summary of a conversation.
The second area is Excel and Google Sheets. A beginner should be comfortable with formatting, sorting, filters, basic formulas, conditional formatting, data validation, and simple pivot tables. Saying “I know Excel” does not mean that you know how to open a file. Create a spreadsheet for candidates, orders, or customer enquiries, add statuses and formulas, and produce a small report. In 2026, the Kyiv Employment Service specifically highlighted training in Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems, office software, HR administration, and computerized accounting among its relevant programs. This is a fairly precise list of what the market wants to see in place of the vague phrase “computer literate.”
The third area is CRM and process thinking. Bitrix24, HubSpot, KeyCRM, Pipedrive, and other systems differ in appearance, but the general logic is similar: record, contact, task, status, comment, next step, report. Learn not only to press buttons, but also to understand why the action must be recorded and what the next employee needs to see. Someone who maintains a system accurately becomes useful quickly in sales, support, e-commerce, HR, and service roles.
The fourth area is English. It is not mandatory for most local entry-level vacancies, but B1-B2 opens access to international support, IT companies, some marketing and purchasing roles, and remote positions. Employers do not pay for the words “English: Intermediate” on a CV. They pay for the ability to read an instruction, write a clear response, and conduct a short conversation. When your CV says B2, be prepared for the interview to continue suddenly in English. Recruiters occasionally possess the supernatural ability to check what candidates have written.
The fifth area depends on your chosen field: a portfolio for content and design, a home lab for technical support, primary documentation for accounting, a sourcing case for HR, or a sales role-play for customer-facing work. You do not need to learn everything at once. A beginner who “knows a little SMM, HR, Python, accounting, and psychology” does not look versatile. They look undecided. Choose one primary path and one related path that uses the same skills.
How to Write a CV When You Truly Have No Experience
A CV without experience should not be empty, and it should not attempt to disguise the absence of employment history behind three screens of personal qualities. Employers need answers to four questions: what work are you looking for, which tasks can you already perform, where have you tested those skills, and under what conditions are you prepared to work? The heading “CV” communicates nothing. A heading such as “Customer Support Specialist” or “HR Assistant” immediately places you in a clear category.
After your contact details and target position, include a short profile of three to four lines. State your relevant foundation, tools, language skills, preferred format, and strongest evidence. For example: “Entry-level customer support specialist, fluent in Ukrainian, experienced with Google Sheets and basic CRM functions. In a practice case, I processed 30 enquiries and prepared response templates. Open to office-based or hybrid work in Kyiv.” There is no promise to become the best employee in the galaxy. There is, however, a clear explanation of what the candidate offers.
Instead of “Work Experience,” use a section titled “Projects and Practical Experience.” This can include an internship, volunteering, student organization, freelance work, assistance with a family business, a practice case, or a personal project. Describe actions and results: coordinated participant registration, processed enquiries, created a catalog, maintained a spreadsheet, wrote materials, configured a system, or checked documents. Do not conceal the fact that a case was completed for training purposes. An honest practice case is better than an invented commercial project that collapses after the first follow-up question.
Reduce the education section to the useful information. Include the qualification, dates, relevant subjects, thesis, or project when they relate to the vacancy. There is no need to list every webinar attended over the past three years. One course containing completed work is more valuable than seven certificates confirming the ability to remain near a playing video.
The skills section should match the vacancy. For an administrative role, include Google Workspace, Excel, documentation, calendars, business correspondence, and CRM. For support, add ticketing systems, diagnostics, or languages. For content, include CMS platforms, editing, analytics, and visual tools. Do not write “stress-resistant” unless necessary. When a vacancy emphasizes stress so heavily that it becomes the primary requirement, stress may not be an occasional situation there. It may be the corporate culture.
Ideally, keep the CV to one page, or two at most when you have substantial projects. The filename should contain your name and target position, not “new CV final 7 definitely.pdf.” Before sending it, check the phone number, email, links, dates, and language. Beginners are assessed more strictly on accuracy because they have fewer other forms of evidence. One typo will not destroy a career, but ten typos may create the impression that quality is also completing a probationary period.
How to Apply Without Making Your Lack of Experience the Only Thing the Employer Learns About You
A weak application says: “Hello, I have no experience, but I am willing to learn.” The candidate informs the employer of a problem and then asks the employer to invent the solution. A strong application connects the requirements with evidence. When the company needs an operator, mention your working Ukrainian, accurate written communication, experience dealing with people, and willingness to work the stated shifts. When it needs an HR assistant, mention research, spreadsheets, coordination, and attach a mini-case. Four or five specific sentences are enough.
Do not send the same CV to twenty different positions. Adaptation does not mean rewriting your biography. It means changing the title, profile, order of skills, and examples to suit the role. For sales, place communication and results first. For administration, emphasize organization and accuracy. For content, lead with the portfolio. For technical support, show the home lab and practical cases. Recruiters read from top to bottom and are not required to conduct an investigation to discover the relevant information on page two.
The appropriate number of applications depends on the field, but quality is more important than meaningless mass spam. Divide vacancies into priority and backup options. Send tailored applications to strong opportunities on the day they are published, and politely follow up after two or three working days. A faster pace is acceptable for mass-market roles, but you should still record the company, position, date, salary, and response. Without a spreadsheet, the search quickly turns into a strange game in which an unknown recruiter calls and you attempt to identify which of thirty companies they represent from the tone of their voice.
Where to Find No-Experience Vacancies in Kyiv
No single site shows the entire market, so a proper search is always multichannel. Major job aggregators provide volume and convenient filters. Company websites show direct vacancies and internship programs. LinkedIn is useful for international, IT, marketing, and corporate roles. DOU and Djinni cover the technology market. Telegram channels provide speed, but require especially careful employer checks. The Employment Service offers an official database, career support, and training. Relying on only one source is about as sensible as looking for an apartment in only one building entrance.
LinkWork should also be added to the search. The platform features vacancies in IT, sales, HR, support, administration, and digital fields, with salary, work format, required experience, and skills visible in each listing. Its current vacancies include administrators, sales managers, system administrators, and HR positions, with some roles explicitly marked as open to candidates without experience. This is useful for beginners for two reasons: they can immediately filter for zero or minimal experience and see the conditions before applying rather than extracting them from the recruiter’s third message.
LinkWork has Ukrainian, English, and Russian versions, while its vacancy listings are accompanied by articles on CVs, interviews, job searching, and career development. This allows candidates not only to open an advertisement, but also to assess whether their application suits the role. The platform should be treated as an additional full search channel rather than as a reason to abandon every other source. The broader the high-quality selection, the less dependent a candidate becomes on a single feed in which popular vacancies turn into a small CV festival within a few hours.
When searching on LinkWork and other sites, do not use only the filters “Kyiv” and “no experience.” Check “up to one year,” “students,” “internship,” “training,” “assistant,” “trainee,” “junior,” “support,” “coordinator,” and specific functions. Some employers do not select the “no experience” filter even though they are willing to consider a strong beginner. When the tasks are basic, you understand 70-80% of the requirements, and the remaining gap can be closed quickly, apply. When your only match is the attractive title and half the responsibilities are written in a professional dialect completely unknown to you, preparation should come first.
How to Check a Vacancy and Avoid Becoming a Criminal’s Project
Beginners are particularly vulnerable to fraudulent listings because they are less familiar with normal recruitment processes and are afraid of appearing demanding. Ukraine’s Cyber Police warns about vacancies promising high pay for minimal effort, demands to pay for training, access, or an insurance deposit, and attempts to obtain card details, CVV numbers, passwords, and SMS codes. In 2025-2026, schemes involving payment for likes, bookings, and simple online tasks also became widespread. A person might first receive a small payment, after which they would be asked to deposit their own money. Recommendations are published on the Cyber Police of Ukraine website.
The first red flag is the absence of a clearly identifiable employer. Check the legal entity’s name, website, business email domain, address, product, public contacts, and vacancy history. A new company may be legitimate, but it should be able to explain calmly who founded it, what the business sells, and how the employment will be formalized. The answer “we will explain everything at the office” is not a trade secret. It is the absence of an answer with furniture.
The second red flag is money requested from the candidate. Employers pay employees, not the other way around. Do not transfer money for access, activation, uniforms, a customer database, an insurance deposit, card setup, or mandatory training. Exceptions such as independently buying ordinary work clothes are discussed after a transparent offer and do not require sending money to an unknown person’s bank card through a messenger.
The third red flag is the collection of excessive data before an offer. Initial selection does not require your CVV, PIN, banking password, SMS code, full set of documents, or a photograph of your bank card. Passport and tax information may be required for official employment, but it should be provided to a verified employer at a clearly defined stage. When the interview has not yet occurred and the company is already more interested in your financial history than your professional background, the vacancy has not selected a candidate. It has selected a victim.
The fourth red flag is concealed job content. Phrases such as “working with information,” “international project,” “communicating with clients,” “financial sector,” “chat manager,” and “office activity” communicate nothing without a product and clear responsibilities. Ask whom you will contact, what you will offer, which country the customers are in, whether the activity is licensed, how the work is formalized, and where the customer database comes from. Be particularly cautious with crypto projects, investments, gambling, dating, and calls to foreign customers. The legality and ethics of a job cannot be delegated to the recruiter’s positive attitude.

Probation and Unpaid “Internships”
A probationary period does not mean unpaid work. According to the Free Legal Aid system’s explanation, employees remain covered by labor protections during probation, including the right to pay, and the probation condition must be included in the hiring order. As a general rule, the period cannot exceed three months, or six months in certain cases, while some categories of employees cannot be placed on probation at all. Current details should be checked against the latest legislation and the employment agreement, but the principle is simple: “We will watch you for a week to see whether you are suitable, and there will be no pay yet” does not become lawful merely because it is called an internship. The legal framework is explained by the Free Legal Aid system, while the current provisions are available in Ukraine’s Labor Code.
A short pre-employment test is acceptable when it is proportionate and does not create a complete commercial result. Training after hiring may include practical work, assessment, and supervised tasks. Full unpaid shifts, processing real customers, making sales, publishing content, and carrying out regular duties are no longer an introduction to the work. When a company tests you for five days on a real workload, it receives five days of labor. Renaming the process does not erase the calendar.
Before starting, request a written proposal stating the position, salary, schedule, start date, employment format, probationary period, and key responsibilities. Depending on the company’s process, this may be an offer, an email, or a draft contract. The verbal promise that “everything will be fine” is not a document. In employment relations, optimism is approximately as useful as a paper clip: it may occasionally hold two pages together, but it does not record the salary.
What Beginners Are Asked During Interviews
When a candidate has no experience, the interview shifts from past performance to behavior and potential. Employers assess whether you understand the position, can learn, respond constructively to feedback, perform repetitive tasks, and hold realistic expectations. The question “Why do you want to work for us?” does not require a declaration of love for the brand. It is enough to connect the company’s responsibilities with your skills and explain why this is a logical starting point.
Answer questions about your lack of experience without apologizing. State that you do not yet have commercial experience in the role, then immediately describe the relevant foundation, project, and actions through which you are closing the gap. The structure is: fact, evidence, readiness for specific tasks. For example: “I have not worked commercially in customer support, but I processed enquiries in a volunteer project, maintained statuses in a spreadsheet, and prepared response templates. I am ready to work on the inbound line and complete product training.” This sounds more mature than “Please give me a chance; I will not let you down,” because recruitment is not a charitable lottery.
Prepare four stories: one about learning something quickly, one about correcting a mistake, one about dealing with a dissatisfied person, and one about completing a task by the deadline. The examples may come from education, volunteering, part-time work, or a personal project. Use the structure “situation, task, action, result.” Do not expand the answer into a family saga. The recruiter needs an episode, not a director’s cut beginning with the main character’s childhood.
At the end, ask about the first thirty days, the criteria for successfully completing probation, the mentor, tools, schedule, salary, and reason the vacancy is open. The answers reveal more about the quality of the role than a corporate presentation. When nobody can explain what a beginner should learn during the first month, the company may not yet understand why it is hiring them either.
A 30-Day Plan for Finding Your First Job
During the first three days, choose one primary role and one related role. For example, customer support plus order processing, HR assistant plus office coordinator, content manager plus SMM assistant, or technical support plus junior system administrator. Collect twenty real vacancies and record the recurring responsibilities, tools, language requirements, schedule, and salary. You will then see which requirements genuinely reflect the market and which were invented by one particularly inspired company.
By the end of the first week, close one or two of the most common gaps and create evidence. Learn spreadsheets and a CRM, prepare a portfolio, build a technical lab, complete an HR sourcing case, or work through primary accounting documents. Do not try to finish learning an entire profession in seven days. The objective is to move from the category “has never done anything” to “understands the process and can demonstrate basic work.”
During the second week, prepare two versions of your CV for the chosen directions, a short application template, and a job-search spreadsheet. Check your profiles on job sites, contact details, photograph, links, and portfolio access. Begin with ten to fifteen high-quality applications per week for more competitive roles, or use a faster pace for mass-market positions. Record the response, stage, and reason for rejection when one is provided.
During the third week, analyze the funnel. When twenty to thirty relevant applications produce no interview invitations, the problem is almost certainly in your choice of vacancies, CV, or supporting evidence. When interviews occur but offers do not, examine your answers, salary expectations, understanding of the role, and practical assignment. When offers appear but all of them are questionable, reconsider your sources and filters. Continuing the same process for another two months and calling it persistence may be convenient, but it is not effective.
The fourth week is for targeted adjustments. Add alternative job titles, expand the acceptable district or hybrid format, improve a weak case, or ask an experienced acquaintance to conduct a mock interview. You may temporarily lower your expectations regarding the title, but not regarding safety, legality, or basic working conditions. The compromise “I will begin as an assistant” can be reasonable. The compromise “I will work for free, transfer a deposit, and tell nobody what the company does” belongs to a different genre entirely.

How to Choose Your First Job When Several Options Are Available
Compare offers not by the impressiveness of the title, but by four outcomes after a year: what you will learn, what you will be able to measure, who will provide feedback, and where you can move next. An inbound-line operator in a strong company may gain more useful experience than a “project assistant” in a business where no projects exist. An electronics salesperson with CRM access, training, and clear KPIs may move into B2B more quickly than a nominal manager who spends all day sending identical messages.
A good first job provides a repeatable process, a mentor, access to tools, clear criteria, and results that can be added to a CV. It does not need to be perfect. It may be office-based, moderately paid, and full of routine tasks. After six months, however, you should have figures, cases, and more valuable skills. When the only outcome of the role is an increased ability to tolerate the manager, the market will place only a modest value on that skill.
Do not choose based solely on salary, but do not allow the word “experience” to justify any figure either. Calculate commuting costs, food, equipment, schedule, unpaid hours, and the risk of variable income. Sometimes an offer paying UAH 3,000 more costs more overall because it requires two changes of transport and evening shifts. Money likes to be counted, while first jobs particularly enjoy pretending that the journey to work occurs outside both time and space.
Frequently Asked Questions About Working in Kyiv with No Experience
Can you find office work in Kyiv without experience?
Yes. The most realistic positions include administrator, office assistant, support operator, order processing manager, customer service employee, and sales department assistant. Competition for well-structured office vacancies is higher than for mass-market sales or contact center roles, so you need a well-written CV, Ukrainian, spreadsheet skills, and concrete examples of your organizational ability.
Which no-experience jobs in Kyiv pay the most?
The highest advertised incomes are often found in sales, real estate, and other commission-based roles. The large figure is not always a guaranteed salary. Support, e-commerce, administrative work, and banking operations offer more predictable income, but the starting amount is usually below the overall median for the profession.
Is it realistic to enter IT without experience in 2026?
Yes, provided that “without experience” means without commercial employment history rather than without knowledge or projects. Technical support, implementation, product support, and junior system administration are often more accessible than development, QA, and UI/UX. Every IT role requires practical evidence, English, and willingness to compete.
Do companies hire people without experience in HR?
Yes, for HR assistant, sourcer, interview coordinator, and trainee positions. However, there are significantly fewer vacancies than people trying to enter the profession. Strong research skills, clear communication, Excel or Google Sheets, an understanding of recruitment stages, and a small practical case increase your chances.
Can you find remote work without experience?
Yes, most commonly in contact centers, chats, sales, order processing, and moderation. However, remote vacancies accounted for approximately 6% of listings on Work.ua in June 2026, and competition was around five times higher than average. Requiring a fully remote format therefore narrows the selection considerably.
Should you apply when the vacancy requires one year of experience?
Yes, when you understand most of the responsibilities, know the main tools, and can demonstrate a project, internship, volunteer activity, or other relevant experience. A requirement of “one year” is often a guideline rather than a legal barrier. However, when the main tasks and tools are unfamiliar to you, submitting an application is not a substitute for preparation.
Should an internship be paid?
When a person performs real work within an employment relationship or completes a probationary period after being hired, labor payment protections apply. A short pre-employment test is a separate matter, but it should be reasonable in scope and should not replace commercial work. The employment and payment conditions should be provided in writing before the person starts.
Where can you find vacancies requiring no or minimal experience?
Use major job sites, company career pages, LinkedIn, specialist platforms, the Employment Service, and additional vacancy selections. On LinkWork, you can find opportunities in sales, HR, support, IT, administration, and digital fields while immediately checking the required experience, salary, work format, and skills. Using several channels provides a fuller picture and reduces dependence on the most overcrowded listings.
Conclusion: Your First Job Should Pay for Your Next Step
Work in Kyiv for people without experience does exist, and in 2026 employers are genuinely more willing to consider beginners. However, the market has not abolished the exchange: the company provides money and practical experience, while the candidate provides useful results and the ability to become independent quickly. The less employment history you have, the clearer your other evidence must be.
Customer service, sales, order processing, retail, and some administrative roles offer the fastest entry. HR, accounting, content, SMM, and technical support require a foundation in advance. Development, QA, and design are accessible to prepared beginners, but they are not easy routes. Remote work reduces the number of available positions and increases competition dramatically.
A sensible strategy is therefore rather unglamorous: choose a direction, study twenty vacancies, close a recurring skills gap, create a practical case, adapt your CV, search through several platforms, and check the employer before providing documents. There is no secret shortcut and no promise of an offer within three days. There is a process that works. The labor market rarely resembles a motivational video, but it responds rather well to people who know how to calculate, verify, and demonstrate results.
